JourKnows PH
Journalism for All
Get to know us
We're a Filipino mass media organization built around campus journalism education and media literacy — connecting student publications, training the next wave of campus reporters, and giving young Filipinos the tools to tell their communities' stories responsibly.
What we stand for
Our advocacy
Good journalism doesn't start in a professional newsroom — it starts in a campus publication office, with a student learning to ask the right questions. JourKnows PH exists to strengthen that starting point: training campus journalists in ethics and craft, and helping every Filipino reader tell a credible story from a false one.
Who we are
Rooted in the campus press
JourKnows PH grew out of the campus journalism community itself — student writers, editors, photographers, and designers who wanted a shared space to learn from each other. We run workshops, share resources, and spotlight the work coming out of publications across the country, because a stronger campus press today means a stronger press corps tomorrow.

Find your fit
Meet the desks
Every desk plays a different part in getting a story from idea to publication. Here's what each one does — and where you might belong.
News
Covers campus and community happenings on tight deadlines — getting the who, what, when, and where out first, and getting it right.
Sports
Chases the score and the story behind it, from varsity showdowns to intramurals, and everything riding on the outcome.
Opinion
Gives students a platform to argue, reflect, and take a stand — sharpening how the campus thinks and talks about what matters.
Feature
Slows down to tell the human stories behind the headlines — profiles, narratives, and the details a straight news report skips.
Sci-Tech
Translates research, innovation, and campus tech developments into stories readers actually want to read.
Literary
Curates poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction for the publication's literary folio — a home for student voices.
Cartoon
Illustrates campus life and current events through editorial cartoons and comic strips — humor and commentary in one frame.
Broadcast
Brings the news to air and screen — anchoring, reporting, and producing video and audio segments for the publication.
Copyediting & Language Review
Guards grammar, clarity, and house style — the last checkpoint before anything goes to print or posts online.
Graphics & Layout
Designs the visual identity of every issue — page layout, infographics, and the look readers recognize at a glance.
